Accessibility

Effective 6 July 2026
01.Our commitment

KAIN is a small studio, and we want the site to be usable by everyone — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing part of how we build, not a box we tick once.

02.The standard we aim for

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That means readable text contrast, meaningful alternative text for images, clear focus states, and content that reflows cleanly on small screens and at higher zoom levels.

03.What we've done

Text and interface colours are chosen to meet AA contrast on their backgrounds. Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.

Motion respects your system preference: if you turn on “reduce motion,” animations and autoplaying video are quieted automatically. Images carry descriptive alternative text, and the layout adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops.

04.Known limitations

Some product imagery comes directly from our partner workshops and retailers, and a few of those images may lack ideal descriptions. We are working through these as we curate. If you hit a barrier anywhere on the site, please tell us — it helps us prioritise.

05.Tell us if something isn't working

If any part of this site is difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, reach out via our contact form and we'll respond promptly and do our best to help.
